K-Tronix specializes in a wide range of electronic repairs including:

Car audio — amplifiers, head units, and subwoofer systems
Game consoles — Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and retro systems

2. How much does it cost to get my device diagnosed?
All repairs begin with a non-refundable diagnostic bench fee:
$89.00 for the first item
$59.00 for each additional item
This fee covers inspection, diagnostics, and a written estimate.
If you approve the repair, the fee is credited toward the total cost.
3. What are typical repair costs?
Repair costs vary depending on the issue, age, and parts availability.
Audio Equipment:
Minor repairs: $200–$300
Intermediate (capacitors, wiring, power supply): $300–$500
Full restorations (caps, tubes, alignment, safety upgrades): $500+
Console Repairs:
HDMI port, power faults, or fan service: $89–$189
Storage upgrades, system reinstall, or controller drift repair: $29–$129
All estimates are provided in writing before any work begins.
4. How long will the repair take?
Average turnaround time is 6–8 weeks for audio electronics and 3–10 business days for console repairs.
Timeframes depend on the complexity of the issue and part availability.
Rush service may be available for an additional fee.
5. Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — we provide a 90-day workmanship warranty covering the specific parts and labor performed during your repair.
It does not cover unrelated failures or normal aging of other components.
6. How does shipping work?
Customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways.
Return shipping is billed after completion.
Please ensure your item is securely packaged and insured — K-Tronix is not responsible for carrier damage in transit.
7. Where do I drop off my item?
K-Tronix does not maintain a retail storefront.
Drop-offs and pickups are scheduled on Wednesdays in Billings (Scheels parking lot, by Taco John’s).
Once your contract and bench-fee invoice are complete, we’ll confirm your appointment by text.
8. What happens if I decline the repair?
If you decide not to move forward, the bench fee covers diagnostic time and inspection.
No additional charges are billed unless previously approved.
You can pick up your item or choose safe disposal at no extra cost.
9. What if I don’t pick up my item?
Items not claimed within 30 days of completion notice may incur storage fees.
After 90 days, unclaimed equipment may be considered abandoned and disposed of.
